YORK, Pa. (AP) — A woman has avoided additional prison time on charges related to a murder that her stepfather was convicted of having committed in a central Pennsylvania motel almost four years ago.
The York Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1fNBCKe ) cited court records in reporting that 25-year-old Enishia Bradley of York was sentenced to 33 days to 23½ months, which amounts to time served. Bradley pleaded guilty in December to theft and receiving stolen property counts.
Forty-eight-year-old Tracey Bradley was sentenced to life without parole plus 13½ to 27 years on a first-degree murder conviction in the May 2010 strangulation death of 72-year-old Lee Choppin of Roanoke, Va., in York.
Defense attorney Scott McCabe said Enishia Bradley had no role in the slaying but pleaded to possessing items her stepfather had stolen from the victim.
