New business spotlight on Desiree Itsell, Arbonne consultant

Pure. Safe. Beneficial. Those three words are what Arbonne Swiss skin care products are all about. And Desiree Itsell, an independent consultant for the Arbonne company, is excited to sell the products with her team of four people.

“Our products don’t have things like animal byproducts, minerals, chemical perfumes and dyes,” Itsell said. The products are also all manufactured in the U.S., she said.

The company offers different products for women, teens, men and even babies. Itsell said the products are especially good for people with sensitive skin.

Arbonne has products that appeal to everyone, Itsell said. “Arbonne’s tagline is from the cradle to the rocker,” Itsell said.

There is a teen line called f.y.i., for young individuals, anti-aging products, acne products and weight loss and nutrition products.

Currently, Arbonne is sold in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico and more expansion is planned throughout the next five years.

“It’s just a great company,” Itsell said. She said there is an underlying philosophy in the company of “pay it forward,” and the company’s ethics are what attracted her to it.

Itsell is an area manager for the company and is working her way up through a five-tiered system.

Arbonne also offers its consultants free training. “There are conference calls and three trainings a year in different parts of the country,” Itsell said.

Itsell said there are more than 1 million Arbonne consultants, but only about 4 percent of consultant are building a business.

Itsell explained that people could get a consultant ID but not build a business if they didn’t want to. And of course there are incentives to building a business, because consultants can work towards the fourth tier of the company where they earn a white Mercedes.

Itsell said she is also always looking for consultants to join her team.
