Stephen W. Hamilton, 36, of 1681 Chapel Hill Road, Anthony Township, has been charged with stealing $650 worth of car parts that belonged to his brother-in-law between Sept. 15 and Nov. 11, state police said. The parts, owned by Ryan Cohick Jr., were stored in a garage owned by Cohick’s mother along Chapel Hill Road, police said. Hamilton took the parts to a recycling business and was given cash for them, police said. Following his recent arraignment before District Judge Allen P. Page III on charges of theft and receiving stolen property, Hamilton was released on $5,000 bail. A simple assault charge was withdrawn in exchange for the guilty plea.
