MANSFIELD - Victor S. Histand, 18, of 205 A. Galick St., Blossburg, faces borough police charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and underage drinking.
According to Mansfield District Court documents, Histand broke into the state liquor store on 181 Main St. here on June 29 by smashing the front door with a rock and stole two bottles of rum and one bottle of vodka. He later was found at his Blossburg home with a quarter-bottle of vodka. Two witnesses confirmed that Histand had broken into the store.
Histand was arrested on June 29, with a preliminary arraignment held the same day before District Judge James Carlson. He is being held in Tioga County Prison on $15,000 bail. He faces court arraignment on Monday.

charged with assault
MANSFIELD - Tyrone Lamont Smith, 35, of 110 Granger St., Blossburg, faces two counts of simple assaults and one count each of terroristic threats and harassment in Mansfield District Court.
According to court documents, Smith threatened to kill a woman with whom he has two children after she spoke to another man. On June 29, he pushed the woman onto a bed at a friend's home in Blossburg and threatened his ex-girlfiend with a knife, state police said. The friend also sustained a small cut from the altercation, according to police.
Smith was arraigned before District Judge James Carlson and committed to the Tioga County Prison on $5,000 bail.

MANSFIELD - Drunken-driving charges were filed against two people in Mansfield District Court, records show.
- Shawn Michael Elliott, 19, of 24 Meade St., Apt 1, Tioga, charged by Tioga police with two counts on July 2.
- Travis Maley, 21, of 59 East Hill Road, Covington, charged by state police with two counts in Putnam Township on May 31.
