WHAT: Town hall meeting on gas drilling

WHERE: Community Theatre in Trade and Transit Centre

Natural gas exploration in Pennsylvania will be the subject of a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Community Theatre in the Trade and Transit Centre, 100 W. Third St.

The meeting is being co-hosted by the Pennsylvania Cable Network, Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, Williamsport Sun-Gazette and The Express of Lock Haven.

The event will be broadcast live by PCN on Channel 21 on the Comcast cable network service area, Channel 38 in Eagles Mere, Channel 55 for Blue Ridge subscribers and Channel 42 for Williamson Road Cable TV subscribers.

Six panelists representing a wide range of interests involving natural gas exploration are lined up.

A question and answer session also will be held.

The event is free and open to the public. However, seating is limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m.
