U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, D-Scranton, will speak at the annual Lycoming County Democratic Committee picnic Sunday at the Zafar Grotto in South Williamsport.
Casey is among a number of federal and state officials expected to attend the 2 p.m. event.
U.S. Rep. Chris Carney, D-Dimock, state Auditor Gen. Jack Wagner and a number of Democratic candidates for state offices also are expected to attend. They include John Morganelli, attorney general; Rob McCord, treasurer; Trey Casimir, 23rd state Senate; Rick Mirabito, 83rd state House.
