JERSEY SHORE - Norm Rafter, 33, of Antes Fort was reported in good condition in Geisinger Medical Center in Danville with injuries suffered when his sport-utility vehicle slammed into a utility pole in the 1500 block of Route 44 South in Nippenose Township about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Porter Township police
A female juvenile riding in the vehicle was taken by ambulance to Jersey Shore Hospital for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
A portion of the two-lane road was closed for several hours while a PPL crew replaced the damaged pole.
