Route 15 area to be reduced to single lane starting today

As part of the Route 15 northbound project between Hepburnville and Trout Run, the contractor will close a single lane today in the southbound direction at the structures over Hoagland Run and Route 973 near Perryville, according to the state Department of Transportation.

A subcontractor will install an epoxy overlay on the bridges over the next two weeks, PennDOT said. The overlay extends the life of the bridge decks and enhances winter maintenance activities. The southbound lane restrictions will be in effect during daylight hours only.

Motorists are advised to be alert for the single-lane restrictions southbound. It is the only work scheduled for the southbound lanes as part of the contract.
