11 people sentenced in court

Eleven people were recently sentenced in Lycoming County Court.

A state prison sentence was given to:

Ira A. Sims, 20, of Philadelphia, one to six years with one year probation for fleeing and eluding police, leaving the scene of a vehicle accident that caused injury and damage and reckless endangerment.

Six were sentenced to County Prison. They are:

Michael Willoughby, 21, of 14 W. Seventh St., 90 days to 24 months and 100 hours' community service for escape.

Christopher J. Candman, 33, of 150 W. Fourth St., three to 24 months and 100 hours' community service for resisting arrest.

David K. Miller Jr., 19, of the County Prison, 12 months with 29 days in the Pre-Release Center, $7,900 restitution and 100 hours' community service for theft.

Jason M. Keath, 26, of 303 E. Church St., three to 18 months, a $1,000 fine, $120 restitution and 50 hours' community service for aggravated assault and driving under the influence.

Larry D. Guisewhite, 58, of 102 S. Franklin St., 120 days, a $1,750 fine and 50 hours' community service for driving under the influence and driving under suspension.

Terrence L. Speller, 31, of 2421 W. Fourth St., six to 23 months, a $200 fine and 50 hours' community service for fleeing and eluding police.

Three were sentenced to intermediate punishment:

Brenda L. Doedderlein, 33, two years and three months with 10 days in the Pre-Release Center and 150 hours' community service for illegal transfer and cruelty to animals.

Gregory A. Garverick, 21, of 600 Wagner Road, Muncy, 24 months with two months in the Pre-Release Center and 12 months probation for criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brett M. Boyer, 19, of 930 Michael Hollow Road, Muncy, 36 months with one month in the Pre-Release Center and 150 hours' community service for unauthorized use of an automobile and theft.

Given probation were:

Anthony M. Rodriguez, 41, of 620 Pine St., 14 months for retail theft.
