May 10, 2009
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

Danelle Amanda Dymeck, 17, a senior at Williamsport Area High School, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Pennsylvania Pageant, which will be held July 12 and 13 in Harrisburg.

The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, an official crown and banner, and transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland in California.

National American Miss pageants are dedicated to celebrating America's greatness and encouraging future leaders. The program is based on inner beauty, as well as poise and presentation.

Dymeck is the daughter of Carolin and David Dymeck of Williamsport. She plays Little League softball, lettered in high school tennis, participated in Girl Scouts, played the saxophone in the high school concert band and wrestled in her eighth and ninth grade years.

In her spare time, Dymeck enjoys music, movies, traveling, helps with Angel Food Ministries donations and plays in her church softball league.
