Wilma J. Mosteller

Wilma J. Mosteller, 76, of 2173 State Route 44, Allenwood, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Williamsport Hospital.

Born Jan. 29, 1933, in Ligonier, she was a daughter of the late Norman L. and Rena Pearl (Roadman) Shaffer.

She and her husband, Glen L. Mosteller, were married Nov. 21, 1972. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2007 after 35 years of marriage.

Wilma was a 1951 graduate of Ligonier High School. She was previously employed by Philco and retired from the former West Company in 1987.

Wilma attended the Watsontown United Methodist Church, Watsontown.

She was an active bingo player.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, W. David and Linda Stotler of Watsontown; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rena M. and Russell "Twoie" Lupold and Mary L. and N. Gene Farley all of Allenwood; two stepsons and a stepdaughter-in-law, Leroy C. Mosteller of Muncy and Dwight W. and Holly Mosteller of Williamsport; a sister, Carla D. Sonson of Zephyrhills, Florida; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Wilma was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Clara I. Mosteller in 1973, four brothers and three sisters.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Montoursville Cemetery. Officiating will be her pastor the Rev. Douglas M. Eberly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Watsontown United Methodist Church, Campus for Christ, 11 E. Third St., Watsontown, PA 17777.

The family is being assisted by the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown.
