YMCA to hold golf tournament

The 13th annual YMCA-Roles Amusement Co. Golf Tourney will be held July 17 at the White Deer Challenge Course.

Golfers can participate in different contests during the tournament, including: closest to pin, long drive, first and second place in each flight, first place team $340 gift certificate, second place team $200 gift certificate, $1,000 skins game sponsored by FNB Bank, $250 putting contest sponsored by Fischer Insurance Agency, $250 Chipping Contest by Dr. Robert Fredrickson; pot of gold, betting hole, team mulligan, raffles and a silent auction.

Prices are $85 per person or $340 per foursome, which includes: golf, cart, dinner and refreshments.

Registration for the event begins at 11 a.m. with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start.

The buffet dinner will begin at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from this tournament benefit the YMCA Youth Program. The tournament will be a four-person scramble format with five flights.

Registration will be limited to 32 foursomes and usually is a sell-out event.
