TIOGA COUNTY POLICE BLOTTERJuly 2, 20092 face charges in separate incidents WELLSBORO - Two people recently faced charges in District Judge Phillip Sweet's courtroom in separate incidents. Each was issued a summons. According to court documents, they are: * Daniel Paxson, 19, of 6 W. Water St., charged by borough police with harassment after allegedly leaving harassing messages on Kelsey Johnson's cell phone on June 17. * Jaret L. Hall, 36, of 54 Wolf Run Road, charged by state police with driving under the influence of intoxicants on Wolf Run Road in Delmar Township May 23. 3rd man charged in burglaries MANSFIELD - A third person was charged with burglary and related counts in connection with two incidents in Tioga and Bradford counties. Trevor D. Heck, 19, of 411 School Road, Apt. 2, Tioga, faces charges of burglary, theft and criminal conspiracy to commit burglary for his part in the thefts of two ATVs, narcotic painkillers and a .22 caliber rifle from properties in Wells Township in Bradford County and Tioga Township in Tioga County, according to documents filed with District Judge James Carlson's office. According to state police, the incidents occurred between April 6 and April 13. Heck was released on $30,000 bail. His preliminary hearing was Monday. The other two charged were Troy C. Adriance, 18, of 58 E. Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, and Gregory A. Heck, 20, of 77 Creek View Drive, Columbia Crossroads. Police did not state if the two Hecks are related. Their preliminary hearings were set for Wednesday. County court arraignment dates were not available. Woman accused of 'poking' motorist MANSFIELD - Marlene S. Parthemer, 56, of 27 Robinson Drive was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, false imprisonment and harassment following a May 23 incident in Richmond Township. Parthemer was charged by state police after she attempted to pass a vehicle operated by Paul Shaw as he traveled toward the borough on Brooklyn Street, where the speed limit is 25 mph, according to documents filed with District Judge James Carlson's office. Once the two cars reached a parking area at the end of the street, police say Parthemer got out of her vehicle and began poking Shaw in the chest, accusing him of driving drunk, and ordered a borough police officer on the scene to arrest him. The officer said Shaw did not appear to be driving under the influence and ordered Parthemer to "go home." When she persisted, she was arrested and charged. She was released on $20,000 bail and waived her preliminary hearing. Her county arraignment was Monday. 4 charged with drug, alcohol crimes MANSFIELD - Four people recently were charged in District Judge James Carlson's courtroom in separate incidents. According to court documents, they are: * Christie Jo Martin, 41, of 414 Gray Valley Road, Mainesburg, charged by state police with driving under the influence of intoxicants on Route 549 in Rutland Township on April 25, after crashing her car. She was released on $2,500 bail and waived her preliminary hearing. Her county court arraignment is set for July 13. * Julie A. Dugan, 40, of Rochester, N.Y., charged by state police with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 15 in Richmond Township on May 17. She was issued a summons to appear. * Chance L. Alexander, 20, of 79 Bradshaw Road, Tioga, charged by state police with furnishing alcohol to minors during an underage drinking party at his residence March 28. He was issued a summons to appear. * Tanya S. Carpenter, 31, of 111 Mann Hill Road, Tioga, charged by borough police with tampering with records, following an alleged attempt to obtain Vicodin at the Mansfield CVS, 197 N. Main St., on May 28. According to court documents, she altered the number of pills on the prescription from 10 to 20. She was issued a summons. 5 get probation for cases of DUI WELLSBORO - Several people were sentenced Monday for various crimes in Tioga County Court. According to court documents, they are: * Hailey C. Reynolds, 19, of 2247 Merrick Hill Road, Knoxville, sentenced to 12 months probation and a $150 fine plus court costs for making false reports to state police. She accused a man of raping her on Oct. 15; instead, they engaged in consensual relations. * Roger Marble Jr., 23, of 6076 Bellwood Ave., Wellsboro, sentenced to 30 days incarceration, given credit for time served and released and ordered to pay court costs for possession of marijuana. Court agents found him to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana following an arrest on a domestic relations warrant Feb. 18. His parole, granted on May 11, also was revoked. * Pablo Montalvo, 18, of Battleboro, N.C., fined $150 plus court costs for possession of marijuana. State police found him to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop Feb. 26 on Route 15, Tioga Township. * Robert O. Ruef, Jr., 45, of 467 Beechwood Lake Road, Westfield, fined $75 plus court costs for harassment. He was charged by borough police after he harassed Jackie Ruef on her cell phone by sending her obscene text messages on April 1. * Tammy Jo Frost, 41, of 2954 Route 660, Mansfield, sentenced to 12 months special probation and ordered to pay $750 restitution plus court costs for theft from a customer at the Optima Gas Station, South Main Street, Mansfield, between June 8 and June 27, 2008. She was charged by state police after she used a customer's credit card to make several unlawful purchases. 5 get probation for cases of DUI WELLSBORO - Five people were sentenced to special probation for driving under the influence of intoxicants. According to court documents, they are: * Alan J. Burgess, 48, of Selinsgrove, for 12 months plus a 60-day driver's license suspension and $1,824 in fines and fees. He was charged by borough police following a traffic stop March 21 on Tioga Street. * Bryan D. Kear, 22, of Pittsburgh, for 12 months plus a 60-day driver's license suspension and $1,824 in fines and fees. He was charged by borough police following a traffic stop on Tioga Street March 28. * Tasha C. Crawford, 24, of 271 Charleston Road, for 12 months plus a 60-day driver's license suspension and $1,824 in fines and fees. She was charged by borough police following a traffic stop on Main Street March 28. * Blair D. Chappel, 27, of Route 328, Millerton, for nine months plus a 30-day driver's license suspension and $1,474 in fines and fees. He was charged by state police following a traffic stop on old Route 15, Putnam Township Feb. 14. * Steven E. Neal, 51, of 5117 Route 6, for 12 months plus a 60-day driver's license suspension plus $1,824 in fines and fees. He was charged by state police following a traffic stop on Route 287, Middlebury Center April 25. |
