Sarah Pickett Blankenship, 35, of Mill City, Pa., went home to her Lord and Savior following a brief and unexpected hospital stay on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Kyle; her son, Isaac; twin step-children, Amanda and Brooke; her parents, Carl (Edie) Pickett of Port Charoltte, Fla., Caroline and Robert Rubendall of Towanda; two siblings, Jennifer (Mark) Sheeley of Ulster and Seth Pickett of Towanda; nieces and nephews, Jessica, Heather, Daniel and Logan; several aunts and uncles; her dearest friend, Aimee Largent and many special friends.
Calling hours are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the New Life Church located North of Canton on Route 14 and McMurray Road. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Rugg officiating. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Church. Burial will be held in the Franklin Center Cemetery.
