Rev. Jesse G. Blankenship III, 78, of 31 South 18th St., Lewisburg, passed away, Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at the Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, 51 S. Third St., Lewisburg, officiated by his pastor, Rev. MacKenzie Scott. Friends will be received in the church fellowship hall following the service. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Lewisburg Cemetery.
