Lewisburg's Cam Cassels hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to give Lewisburg a 58-56 win over Midd-West Tuesday night in boys basketball. Cassels missed two foul shots with 20 seconds left to leave Lewisburg only up by one before Midd-West's Dexter Herman scored with nine seconds left put Lewisburg down by one. Robbie Gaines led the Green Dragons with 13 points while Shakiel Rice had 11. Cassels ended the game with 10 points.
Muncy let its early led slip away as Millville exploded for 49 points in the second half in a 60-43 win. Muncy's Tyler Smay scored 17 points in defeat.
Mifflinburg built a 30-14 halftime lead en route to its 44-34 victory over Montoursville. The Warriors were led by Dalton Young with nine points. Zack Hoy was the hero for Mifflinburg, scoring 21 points.
Unbeaten Loyalsock topped Central Columbia, 49-44, despite no double-digit scorers.
Jason Greenfield had a team-high 24 points as Wellsboro coasted in the second half to an 84-49 win over North Penn. Brion Yaggie had 15 points for North Penn.
Hughesville's boys basketball team won 53-44 against Mount Carmel to remain undefeated at 10-0. Brian Gerney scored 19 points to lead the Spartans.
Indian Valley nipped Central Mountain, 59-58, thanks in part to scoring 30 points in the third quater.
Ben Barnhart and Caleb Barnhart scored 13 points each but Selinsgrove won a key HAC-I matchup, 62-56.
Montgomery's Travis Kennedy had 21 points, but Benton came back in the second half and overtime to get a 48-42 win.
Nick Koletar had a triple-double with 14 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists, and Rob Houseknect scored 31 points as South Williamsport beat Bloomsburg, 70-54.
Marquis Delgado scored 14 points with 10 steals as Mansfield beat Liberty, 64-38.Lucas Weikel scored 12 points and hit four 3-pointers to lead Warrior Run, but Southern Columbia won, 70-48.
Milton fell behind 21-5 in the first quarter and wasn't able to recover as Danville won, 65-37.
Levi Howe scored 18 points and Williamson upset Galeton, 53-49 despite a game-high 23 points from Matt Shadle.
In wrestling, Hughesville improved to 4-3 with a 56-16 win over Southern Columbia. Brad Poust and Derek Earnest won with pins.
Darren Hedings, Jared Watson, and Nick Lose won by fall as Warrior Run beat Mifflinburg, 42-23.
Jersey Shore benefitted from six forfeits and defeated Hollidaysburg, 52-17.
