Monroeton man in fair condition after crash

TOWANDA - Charles Marcy, 71, of Monroeton is in fair condition at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre after he was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 2:14 a.m. Thursday on U.S. Route 6 in Wysox Township, it was reported in Friday's Daily Review, a Towanda newspaper.

A house and a free-standing sign of Fleming's Barber Shop, which is located at the intersection of Leisure Drive and Route 6, were damaged in the accident, according to the state police and Brett Keeney, first assistant chief of the Wysox Volunteer Fire Co., the newspaper said.

According to the report, Marcy will be charged with DUI and traffic violations in connection with this accident, state police at Towanda said.
