Central appeared to tie the game with a last-second shot but it was waved off after the referees said it was not released in time. Isaac Bittle and Antoine Ellison-Love scored in double figures for the Lancers (15-2, 9-2).
Four Hughesville players scored in double figures as the Spartans maintained a two-game lead over Loyalsock in the HAC-II, thumping Mount Carmel, 68-39. Greg Taggart hit three 3-pointers and scored a game-high 14 points for Hughesville (17-1, 11-0).
Lewisburg hit 10 3-pointers and Kyle Ranck and Cam Cassels combined for 35 points as the Green Dragons pulled away from Midd-West, 58-46. Cassels scored 15 of 27 first-half points for Lewisburg (12-7, 7-4) while Ranck scored 16 of the team's 31 second-half points.
Montoursville played well in the second half but was held to 12 first-half points as HAC-I leader Mifflinburg defeated it 65-45.
Muncy took a lead into the second quarter against defending District 4 Class A champion Millville, but struggled in the second half as the Quakers won, 60-35.
Southern Columbia held Warrior Run to 16 points in each half and defeated the Defenders, 68-32.
Ben Barnhart led Jersey Shore with 28 points in its 81-61 win over Selinsgrove.
In girls basketball, Lewisburg led 30-14 after three quarters and defeated Wyalusing, 37-29. Jenny Meslener had a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds.
Alex Marple scored 17 points and Wellsboro held Elkland to single digits in all four quarters as it cruised to a 54-20 win.
Brittany Phelps scored 18 points and Cowanesque Valley rolled to a 51-9 win over Williamson.
