5th river symposium returns to city

The fifth annual West Branch Susquehanna Restoration Symposium will be held May 6-7 at the Genetti Hotel.

May 6 will be filled with a variety of presentations on topics related to abandoned mine drainage cleanup efforts in the West Branch Susquehanna watershed. On May 7, training sessions will teach participants how to perform water sampling and biological surveys according to state and federal protocol and will help to make data collection more consistent throughout the watershed.

The symposium is sponsored by Trout Unlimited and the West Branch Susquehanna Restoration Coalition.
