Elaine A. Erhard

Elaine A. Erhard, 69, of 1005 St. Davids Road, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Williamsport Hospital.

Elaine and her husband, Daniel J. Erhard, celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary Sept. 6, 2009.

Elaine worked for Avco for 24 years until 1982. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and was the Organist and Choir Director. She was also a member of the Williamsport Music Club and the American Guild of Organists.

Born Jan. 14, 1941 in Loganton, she was the daughter of Snowden and Ruth Best Schreckengast.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a brother, Raymond (Janet) Schreckengast of Montoursville; a sister, Marie (John) Shaffer of Danvers, MA and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, 1400 Market St., with the Rev. Eric L. Deibler officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions to the church.
