Students get off Williamsport Area School District Bus 17 and head to another bus after the one on which they were riding was hit by a Buick Century at Park Avenue and Locust Street about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, city police said. Five students on the bus and the driver of the car, a woman in her 80s, were taken to Williamsport Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries, police said. There were about 40 students on the bus at the time. Students not injured boarded a second bus that was brought to the scene and used to take them home. The identities of the drivers and the injured students were not available Wednesday night.
