In response to Stanley Gould's comment regarding lame duck sessions, given the scenario he proposed, of course an outgoing Republican majority would want the same opportunity to push things through at the last minute. That's human nature, but that doesn't make it right. It flies in the face of the majority of the electorate, the very people who sent these political hacks packing. I should think that Stan, of all people, would be in favor of somehow eliminating or limiting the lame duck session.
