The ninth Senior Health and Lifestyle Expo will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 19 at the Industrial Arts Building at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds.
A free "early bird breakfast" will be provided by Weis Markets in the Boomers Cafe and Lounge.
Miss Pennsylvania 2010, Courtney Thomas, is the guest hostess who will be on hand to meet and greet all visitors.
The expo will feature exhibits from dozens of local and regional companies that provide products and services that are needed by adults 50 and older.
Free health screenings will be offered by various exhibitors.
Staff from Evangelical Hospital, Lewisburg, will offer free blood pressure checks to visitors.
According to Deborah Verderame, show coordinator, the information offered at the expo will be of special interest to those age 50 and older.
"The exhibitor mix is excellent: health care, hospitals, insurance, home care, mobility products, hearing, healing and much more," she said. "There are dozens of top companies with representatives on site to answer all your questions."
Free seminars on topics including insurance, health care, investment strategy and legal assistance will be presented throughout the day.
Additional Senior Health and Lifestyle Expos are scheduled for May 3 at Silver Moon Banquet Hall in Lewisburg and May 24 at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
