Sweely-Hockenberry

Amy Lyn Sweely and Scott Andrew Hockenberry were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010.

The Rev. Kerry Aucker officiated at the ceremony held at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jersey Shore.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Haywoods on the Green, Mill Hall, and a reception was held at the Valley Inn, DuBoistown.

The bride is the daughter of Dianna and Gary Sweely, Jersey Shore. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2006 and Lock Haven University in 2010. She is employed by Stafford County Public Schools as a sixth-grade mathematics teacher.

Hockenberry is the son of Jim and Linda Welshans and Bruce and Melissa Hockenberry, Jersey Shore. He graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2007 and is pursuing a degree in photography.

Maid of honor was Ashley Russo.

Bridesmaids were Emily Sweely and Morgan Emel, both sisters of the bride, Courtney Waltz, Amanda Welshans and Emily Hockenberry, sister of the bridegroom.

Flower girl was Alyssa Wagner, cousin of the bride.

Ring bearer was Lincoln Hockenberry, brother of the bridegroom.

Best man was Benjamin Hockenberry, brother of the bridegroom.

Groomsmen were Jacob Summers, Justin Boatman, Charles Ward, RJ Steer, cousin of the bridegroom, and Aric Guiswite.

Following a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is residing in Fredericksburg, Va.
