LEWISBURG - A Kinship Family Workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon June 9 at the Union County Government Building, 155 N. 15th St.
According to the Penn State Cooperative Extension in Lycoming and Union counties, Pennsylvania is ranked No. 7 in the nation for homes where grandparents and other relatives are the sole support for their grandchildren.
The workshop is intended for health, legal and social service agencies, as well as kindergarten to college educators, social workers and policy makers.
There is no registration fee and resource materials will be provided.
