Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Troisi, Williamsport, are observing their 70th wedding anniversary today, Sept. 11, 2011.
They were married by the Rev. Joseph Meyer at St. Boniface Catholic Church, where they are members.
Mrs. Troisi, the former Gloria Coleman, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Peter C. and Mary Coleman.

Mr. Troisi, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Dominic and Bernadine Troisi. Mr. Troisi is a Navy veteran of World War II and was president of the former Troisi Tailors and Haberdashers until retirement in 1986.
Both graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1938.
They are the parents of four sons, Robert L. Jr., Williamsport, Mark P., Holt, Mich., David F., South Williamsport, and Lee J., Tuscaloosa, Ala., and two daughters, Michelle M. Knowlton, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Elaine H. Revie, Hartford.
There are 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In honor of the anniversary and Mr. Troisi's 90th birthday, a family gathering was held recently in South Williamsport.
