Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lutz Sr. observed their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 23, 2011.
They were married by the Rev. Charles Ramp, brother-in-law of Mrs. Lutz, at Snowshoe Methodist Church. They are members of Faith United Methodist Church, Montoursville.
Mrs. Lutz, a native of Barbours, is the daughter of the late Sarah and Percy Scaife. She retired from Montoursville Area School District.

Mr. Lutz, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Margaret and Carl Lutz. He retired from the former Bethlehem Steele, now Wirerope Works Inc. He also was employed by Ragnars for 11 years.
They are the parents of one daughter, Pamela Porter, Meadville, and three sons, Carl Jr., Montoursville, Rex, Easton, and Pat, Nazareth. There are 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
