Mr. and Mrs. Otis F. Williams, Loyalsock Township, observed their 50th wedding anniversary July 28, 2011.
They were married by the Rev. Kenneth Haim at St. Paul Evangelical United Brethren Church. They are members of Bethel United Methodist Church, Montoursville.
Mrs. Williams, the former Clarabelle A. Springman, is the daughter of Hazel Hill, Hughesville, and the late Woodrow Springman, and stepdaughter of the late J. Howard Hill. She graduated from Hughesville High School. She was employed as a secretary by Sprout-Waldron, Muncy; the FBI in Washington, D.C.; South Williamsport Area School District; and Loyalsock Township School District. She retired in 1998.

Mr. Williams, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Otis F. and Esther Bangert Williams.
He graduated from Williamsport High School and received a bachelor's degree in secondary education from the former Lock Haven State Teacher's College, now a university. He also received a master's degree in secondary education administration from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, and a master's degree in mathematics from Fresno State University, Fresno, Calif. He was a staff sergeant in the Army and served for 17 months in Korea during the Korean War. He retired from South Williamsport Area School District in 1993.
They are the parents of a son, Dana K., Loyalsock Township.
In honor of their anniversary, a dinner, hosted by their son, will be held at the Wheel Inn, Roarding Branch.
