Mr. and Mrs. John H. Brown, Linden, observed their 25th wedding anniversary Sept. 27, 2011.
They were married by the Rev. Wayne Hepler at the former Linden United Methodist Church. Mr. Brown is a member of Pine Run United Methodist Church, Linden.
Mrs. Brown, the former Kathy M. Willits, is a native of the Newberry section of Williamsport. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Willits, Linden. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1980 and is employed by Williamsport Regional Medical Center in the health records department.

Mr. Brown, a native of Linden, is the son of Sara Brown, Jersey Shore, and the late Harold Brown. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1979. He is employed by Bass Pro Auto as an auto service technician.
In honor of their anniversary, the couple took a vacation to Cayuga Lake, N.Y., and will be honored with a family dinner at a later date.
