intern to accountant

SupplySource, Inc., a leading provider of interior design, office furniture specification, project management, contract management, and installation in Pennsylvania, announces Jamie Compton's promotion to full-time staff accountant in the Williamsport office, according to a news release.

Compton, a recent graduate of Lock Haven University with a degree in accounting, has worked in her chosen field through a University-sponsored internship. Compton began with SupplySource in September of 2010, interning part-time and attending class. She worked her way into a part-time position with the company, and recently was given full-time status in the accounting department upon her graduation this past May.

SupplySource regularly seeks interns from Lock Haven University, the news release said, because of their skill levels and maturity. Additionally, the company has participated as a mentor in the Partner Education program with junior and senior accounting and management students.
