Recent Central Mountain High School graduate Brennan Register receives a certificate of appreciation from Charlie Williams of Croda Inc. for her participation on the Croda Community Advisory Council.
"I certainly have appreciated this opportunity," said Register of her involvement with the CAC. "I didn't know much about Croda when I joined this group in 2009. I learned about Croda, and also learned more about the chemical industry in general. I've also had the opportunity to explain to others what happens here at Croda's Mill Hall plant."
Register has served for the past two years as a student representative on the Community Advisory Council. She recently graduated from Central Mountain High School and is spending the year studying abroad in Brazil through a Rotary exchange program.
The Croda Community Advisory Council was established in 2001 to better educate the community about Croda and to enhance peoples' understanding of the local manufacturer. The CAC meets every other month, and membership includes people from all walks of local life. Current members include Keith Bittner, Rob Getz, Fred Hoy, Matt Kellander, Betty Packer, Sue Peters, Nicole Rall-Miller, April Strouse, Eric Stover, Michelle Walizer and Tom Walker.
