Announcement has been made of the engagement of Melissa McKibben and Jonathan Yacoby, both of Portland, Ore.
An April 7 wedding in Las Vegas is being planned.
McKibben is the daughter of Mary Lou and Bill McKibben, Linden. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1994 and is employed by Fred Meyer Jewelers, Portland, Ore., as a senior executive assistant.

Yacoby is the son of Shlomo Yacoby and son and stepson of Lauren and Ron Nelson, Portland. He graduated from Clovis West High School, Fresno, Calif., in 1999. He is employed by Stanford's Restaurant and Bar, Portland, as a manager.
