Announcement has been made of the engagement of Melissa Elizabeth Brooks and Seth Howard Boehret, both of Cogan Station.
An Oct. 15 wedding at Faith Christian Church took place.
Brooks is the daughter of LuAnn Elizabeth and Jeffrey Eugene Brooks, Cogan Station. She graduated from Meadowbrook Christian School, Milton, in 2004. She received a bachelor's degree in business administration with concentration in marketing and finance and a minor in accounting from Geneva College, Beaver Falls, in 2009. She is employed by Jersey Shore State Bank as a marketing assistant and electronic marketing coordinator.

Boehret is the son of Deanna Gwen and Richard Edwin Boehret, Cogan Station. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in music education from Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, in 2009. He is employed by C.H. Waltz Sons Inc., Dallas, Pa., as a general manager.
