Rachelle Anne Ricotta, Dunkirk, N.Y., and Justin Henri Abbott, Fredonia, N.Y., were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011.
The Rev. Jim Fugle officiated at the ceremony held at Blessed Mother Angela Parish, St. Hedwig's Church, Dunkirk.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the Conservation Club and a reception was held at St. Hedwig's Social Hall, both in Dunkirk.

The bride is the daughter of Vincent C. Ricotta and Bonnie S. Kelly, Dunkirk. She graduated from Dunkirk High School in 2000. She received bachelor's degrees in urban and public policy and sociology from State University of New York at Buffalo in 2004 and a master's degree in planning with concentration in community development from the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada, in 2007. She was employed by the Lycoming County Planning Commission as a community development planner and now is employed by Lycoming-Clinton Counties Commission for Community Action STEP Inc. as the director of planning.
Abbot is the son of Carole Abbott, Fredonia, N.Y., and the late Bill Abbott. He graduated from Fredonia High School in 2001 and received a bachelor's degree in environmental science from Allegheny College, Meadville, in 2005. He is employed by the state Department of Environmental Protection, Williamsport, as a surface mine inspector.
Maid of honor was Vanessa Ricotta, Dunkirk, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaid was Nicole Anderson, Fredonia, N.Y., cousin of the bride.
Ring bearer was Donald John Gula, Sheridan, N.Y., cousin of the bride.
Best men were Jason Abbott, Tampa, Fla., and Jordan Abbott, Fredonia, both brothers of the bridegroom.
Ushers were Pat Bornemann, Williamsport, and Mike Kozak, Pittsburgh.
Following a trip to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, Canada, the couple is residing in Trout Run.
