December 1, 2011
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

JERSEY SHORE - Michael P. Krauser, 46, of 232 S. Broad St., has been charged with allegedly choking Carolyn Krauser on Nov. 25, according to court records filed at District Judge Kenneth T. Schriner's office.

Carolyn Krauser told police that Michael had been drinking before he choked her and he left the room and came back in with a knife in his hand.

The man faces charges of simple assault and harassment and the woman was transported to the Jersey Shore Hospital for breathing trouble, police said.

Michael Krauser was video arraigned that same day before Schriner and committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley.
