WELLSBORO - Nine people were sentenced Monday in Tioga County Court.
Sentenced to state prison terms were:
Robert L. Gulliver, 46, of 55 Cummings Mill Lane, Blossburg, re-sentenced to 24 months and given credit for 110 days time served, then fined $1,500 for driving under the influence of intoxicants, his third conviction in 10 years.
He originally was charged by Blossburg police following a traffic stop on North Williamson Road on Oct. 11, 2007, and sentenced to five years supervision with 90 days in Tioga County Prison followed by probation, but violated parole on June 25 by drinking alcohol and was found riding in a vehicle being driven by a drunk driver during a traffic stop by Wellsboro police.
Sandra A. Schrader, 31, of 36 Joe West Road, Middlebury Center, was re-sentenced to two years for theft by deception.
She originally was charged by state police after she took about $275 in merchandise from WalMart, and returned it to the customer service desk for gift cards on three different occasions between Aug. 28, 2009, and Oct. 14, 2009.
She was sentenced to 24 months supervision with 60 days in Tioga County Prison, then probation, until she violated her probation by abusing heroin in July.
In a second sentencing, Schrader was sentenced to 18 to 36 months in state prison, and given credit for 28 days time served. She also was ordered to pay a total of $9,548 in restitution - $6,450 to Citizen's and Northern Bank, $1,930 to North West Savings Bank, $440 to Foodland, $68 to Tops Market, $70 to Big M Market and $590 to Ackley and Son, Westfield.
For a charge of forgery, she was sentenced to 18 months to 36 months in state prison, consecutive to the first count. She was charged by state police after she took a book of checks and forged 36, passing them at various banks and businesses for cash and merchandise in Westfield, Knoxville, Elkland and Galeton in Tioga and Potter counties March 21 through April 29.
Sentenced to Tioga County Prison were:
Pamela L. Wheaton, 51, of Addison, N.Y., five years' supervision with 90 days in jail, house arrest for the last 30 days of that period, the remainder on probation and a $1,500 fine for DUI, her second conviction in 10 years.
She was charged by state police following a traffic stop at Bradford Forest, 18385 Route 287, Lawrence Township April 10.
Justin B. Wilcox, 26, of 205 High St., Apt. D, Troy, three months to 12 months in jail and fined $500 for possession of a controlled substance.
He was charged by state police after he attempted to get a fraudulent prescription for Percocet filled at the Wal-Mart Pharmacy May 22.
Dustin M. Lockwood, 20, of 15540 Route 6, Lot 8, Mansfield, 24 months' supervision, with three months in jail, credit for 57 days time served, then probation for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
He was charged by state police after he took a car parked at Costy's, 2395 S. Main St., Mansfield, April 15 and drove it to New York state, where he stole gasoline near Binghamton, N.Y. and was apprehended by New York state police after he struck a building with the car April 16.
Sentenced to probation were:
Christopher K. Shannon, 26, of 35 N. Main St., Mansfield, 12 months for burglary.
He was charged by state police for burglarizing his ex-wife's residence at 957 S. Main St., Lot 9, Richmond Township, May 7.
Tiffany C. Mullikan, 29, of 628 W. Main St., Elkland, six months probation for theft.
She was charged by Wellsboro police for taking $100 cash from the register at Tops Market, Wellsboro, Oct. 4, where she was employed, for a lottery transaction.
Sentenced to special probation was:
Jason T. Campbell, 32, of 19 Corwin Lane, Lawrenceville, 12 months for DUI. He was charged by state police after he crashed his car on Route 6, Richmond Township May 14.
Rachel A. Bieri, 36, of 244 Long Lane, Lawrenceville, $1,000 for selling or furnishing alcohol to minors. She was charged by Lawrence Township police after she held a drinking party for underage individuals at her residence March 26.
