Announcement has been made of the engagement of Ashley Lynn Grove, Old Forge, and Paul Bartkovsky Jr., Dickson City.
A July 28 wedding at St. Mary Visitation Church, Dickson City, is being planned.
Grove is the daughter of Debbie DiMarco, Antes Fort, and Eric Grove, Lock Haven. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2002 and received a bachelor's degree in history from King's College, Wilkes-Barre, in 2006, where she also received a master's degree in education in reading in 2011. She is employed by Fell Charter School, Carbondale, as a social studies and language arts teacher.

Bartkovsky is the son of Janice and Paul Bartkovsky, Dickson City. He graduated from the former Bishop O'Hara High School, now Holy Cross High School, in 2006 and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Marywood University, Scranton, in 2011. He is employed by Friendship House, Scranton, as a therapeutic staff support.
