December 15, 2011
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

MANSFIELD - Bridget M. Konan, 21, of 3948 Cherry Flats Road, Covington, was charged with theft by deception and forgery by state police recently.

According to documents filed with District Judge James Carlson's office, Konan passed 11 checks at First Citizens National Bank branch at Wal-Mart totaling $4,205, creating the false impression that she was the owner, Marjorie Konan, by signing her name on the checks Dec. 8.

She was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail and her preliminary hearing held Wednesday.
