WELLSBORO- Eleven people were sentenced in Tioga County Court Monday.
Sentenced to county prison were:
Matthew A. Weatherby, 22, of 67 Larch Lane, Arnot, nine months to 23 months for theft, given credit for 33 days time served and fined $200, plus $11,888 restitution.
He was charged by state police for taking a car belonging to Martha M. Thompson and Tyler L. Monks without permission from 167 Liden St., Arnot, Bloss Township, April 19. He then crashed the vehicle and fled the scene.
Jaime L. Dawson, 37, of 398 Newtown Hill Road, Mansfield, resentenced to 90 days to 12 months for receiving stolen property, given credit for 63 days time served after his previous probation was revoked because he tested positive for THC and benzodiazepines Oct. 11.
He was charged by Tioga police on Aug. 8, 2010, for stealing merchandise from the Pump and Pantry in the borough.
Hannah L. Lilley, 26, of 17 Cherry Flats Road, Wellsboro, resentenced to 90 days to 12 months, given credit for 69 days time served and fined $100 for making false reports after her probation was revoked for testing positive for THC in August.
She was charged by state police after claiming someone took her car when she had in fact been in the car at the time of the pursuit by police Nov. 20.
Brian C. Long, 42, of Homer City, five years intermediate punishment, with 90 days in prison for driving under the influence of intoxicants, followed by 30 days on house arrest, then regular probation, fined $1,500.
He was charged by Blossburg police following a traffic stop on Gulick Street Feb. 20.
Cherri A. Fischer, 22, of 2634 Route 184, Trout Run, five years intermediate punishment, 90 days in prison for driving under the influence of intoxicants, 30 days on house arrest, regular probation, fined $1,500.
She was charged by state police following a traffic stop on Route 15, Canoe Camp Creek Exit, Richmond Township June 3.
Sentenced to probation were:
Matthew R. Buck, 21, of 1243 Elkhorn Road, Tioga, 36 months for theft, fined $200 and restitution of $453.83.
His previous probation was revoked after he consumed alcohol, and he moved without permission in October. He was charged by state police after taking $1,200 cash and cigarettes and damaging property at Fred's Lobster Garden, Tioga Township, Dec. 15, 2009.
Lewis J. Nagy, 24, of 16 Mistic Lane, Lawrenceville, 12 months for possession of marijuana, fined $100.
He was charged by the Tioga County district attorney's office and the state office of the attorney general, after he was treated there for overdose on a fentanyl patch at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital, Wellsboro, July 20, 2010.
He had gotten the patch from his girlfriend, Amanda Brooks, who worked at the Green Home as a certified nurse's aide at the time.
Brooks, 20, of 9 Gee Hollow Road, Lawrenceville, was sentenced to 24 months probation for manufacture, delivery and possession with intent to deliver narcotics and theft.
Cheryl D. Conklin, 55, of 437 Valley Road, Mansfield, 12 months probation for retail theft, $100 fine.
She was charged by state police after she took $52.26 in merchandise from a Mansfield market and left without paying Aug. 12.
Jessica Hartfield, 19, of Philadelphia, six months for simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.
Charged by Mansfield University police for fighting with another student, Barbara Shoemaker, 20, of 225 Rolling Acres Road, Mansfield, on Sept. 8 at Cedarcrest Manor, Clinton Street.
Shoemaker also was sentenced to six months probation for the same charges.
Christian L. Atteberry, 38, of 275 Tremaine Lane, Lawrenceville, 12 months special probation for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
He was charged by state police following a traffic stop on Route 287, Tioga Township, Aug. 21.
