Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sebring, Williamsport, observed their 65th wedding anniversary Dec. 15, 2011.
They were married by the Rev. Lester Shannon at the former St. John Lutheran Church, now Church of the Savior. They are members of Memorial Baptist Church.
Mrs. Sebring, the former Caroline Ruth Haas, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Henrietta and Otto Haas. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1943 and the former Williamsport School of Nursing in 1946. She retired from the practice of Dr. Herbert Ecker Sr.

Mr. Sebring, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Charlotte and Grant Sebring. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1941. He served in the Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Bell of Pennsylvania after 35 years of employment.
They are the parents of one son, Robert, Cogan Station, and two daughters, Nancy Grimes, Paxinos, and Karen Ressler, Chesterton, Ind. There are eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
