Announcement has been made of the engagement of Sheri Anderson and Shon Helm, both of Montoursville.
An Oct. 31 wedding in the Caribbean is being planned.
Anderson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Dugan, Montoursville. She graduated from Loyalsock Township High School in 1992 and received a license in cosmetology from Empire Beauty School in 1992. She is employed by Bed, Bath and Beyond, Muncy.

Helm is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Helm, Salina, Kan. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1993 and received an associate degree in automotive technology from Vale Technical Institute, Blairsville, in 1999. He is employed by Alexander Nissan, Muncy, as an automotive technician.
