Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Badman, Williamsport, will observe their 60th wedding anniversary Dec. 26, 2011.
They were married by the Rev. John Lorenz at Church of the Ascension and are members of St. Joseph the Worker (Ascension).
Mrs. Badman, the former Eva M. Hostrander, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Olive and Collins Hostrander. She graduated from the former St. Joseph High School and is a homemaker.

Mr. Badman, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Margaret and Edward Badman. He graduated from the former St. Joseph High School and served in the Navy and the Korean War. He retired in 1995 from Badman Builders, where he was employed as a self-employed contractor.
They are the parents of two daughters, Janice Henderson, Williamsport, and Debbie Spencer, Dover, Del. There are six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a dinner, hosted by their children, is being planned.
