Announcement has been made of the engagement of Kelly Anne Masteller and David R. Dershem Jr., both of Jersey Shore.
An Aug. 18, wedding at Haywoods on the Green, Mill Hall, is being planned.
Masteller is the daughter of Carol and Scott Masteller, Williamsport. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2004 and received a license in cosmetology from Empire Beauty School in 2005. He is the owner of and works as a hairdresser at Masteller and Co. Hair Studio.

Dershem is the son of Karen and Dave Dershem, Avis. He graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2004 and has been serving in the Army since 2004 as an engineer. He is employed by Glen O. Hawbaker Construction as a heavy equipment operator.
