WATSONTOWN - A former assistant athletic director at Warrior Run High School has been arrested for allegedly having "sexual contact" with two female teenage minors, according to state police.
Matthew Mark Godfrey, 27, who also was employed as an athletic trainer at the school, has been charged with indecent assault, unlawful contact with minors, corruption of minors, and obscene and other sexual materials and performances.
"These crimes occurred at Godfrey's residence and at the high school between August 2010 and last month, while he was employed" there, Trooper Ty Brininger said in a news release.
Following his arraignment Thursday before District Judge Robert Bolton, Godfrey, of Watsontown, was committed to the Northumberland County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
