Announcement has been made of the engagement of Molly Lang Osborn and Bobby Dean Jr., both of Washington, D.C.
A May 11 wedding on Hatteras Island, N.C., is being planned.
Osborn is the daughter of Nina and Bill Osborn, South Williamsport. She graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 2004. She received a bachelor's degree in American studies from Dickinson College, Carlisle, in 2008 and is pursuing a master's degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., where she is employed as the associate director of development.

Dean is the son of Karen and Bob Dean, Charlotte, N.C. He graduated from Providence High School, Charlotte, N.C., in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Va., in 2008. He is employed by Navigant Consulting as a senior energy consultant.
