Blood drives scheduled

A Red Cross blood drive will be held 1-6 p.m. today at Oak Grove Alliance Church, 1681 Fox Hollow Road.

Organizers hope that 25 people will donate blood. Donors receive a free soup mug and spoon with a Chef Cat Cora recipe card.

Expectant Parents class examines changes

WELLSBORO - A free Expectant Parents class titled "Physical and Emotional Changes During Pregnancy" will be held 7-8:30 p.m. today in the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital's board room.

Registration is not necessary; walk-ins are welcome. For more information, call 723-0375.

Nursing exam set

TOWANDA - The practical nursing program at the Northern Tier Career Center, 120 Career Center Lane, will administer a pre-entrance exam at 8:15 a.m. Jan. 18 and Feb. 15.

Recertification offered

WELLSBORO - Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital will hold a one-day recertification Advance Cardiac Life Support class for registered nurses, physicians and paramedics from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 19 in the conference room.

Registration is required.
