Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Strayer, Montoursville, observed their 65th wedding anniversary Jan. 4, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Alphonsus Manley at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church. They are members of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Montoursville.
Mrs. Strayer, the former Lena Minnella, is a native of Passaic, N.J. She is the daughter of the late Millie and Frank Minnella. She retired from Lycoming Braided Fabrics.

Mr. Strayer, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Helen and Walter Strayer. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1943 and retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp.
They are the parents of four daughters, Maria Ferguson, Stafford, Va., Carmel Plage, Conyers, Ga., Anne Secreti, Syracuse, N.Y., and Christine DeGarmo, South Williamsport. There are 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
