Mr. and Mrs. Dorance "Sonny" Frymire, Montoursville, will observe their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 19, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Charles Heim at Market Street Methodist Church.
Mrs. Frymire, the former Peggy Louise Muffley, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late N. Ruth and G. Lewis Muffley. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1948 and is a homemaker.

Mr. Frymire, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Helen G. and Dorance Frymire. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1948. He served in the Army from 1948 to 1952 in Korea from 1951 to 1952. He retired as the owner of Frymire Agency Real Estate and Insurance in 1989.
They are the parents of a daughter, Sandra Lee Patton, Williamsport, and a son, Gary Lamont Frymire, Williston, Vt. There are four grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a family celebration is being planned.
