Announcement has been made of the engagement of Allethaire Anne Medlicott and Kyle Erik Renninger, both of Raleigh, N.C.
A Dec. 29 wedding in Charleston, S.C., is being planned.
Medlicott is the daughter of Kristi Medill and Alex Medlicott, Piermont, N.H. She graduated from Deerfield Academy, Deerfield, Mass., in 2000. She received a bachelor's degree in English from Rhodes College, Memphis, Tenn., in 2004 and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Duke University, Durham, N.C., in 2007 and is pursuing a master's degree in nursing: anesthesia at Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia, Raleigh, N.C.

Renninger is the son of Nancy and Kurt Renninger, Montoursville. He graduated from Loyalsock Township High School in 1997. He received a bachelor's degree in finance from Schreyer Honors College of Penn State University, State College, and a master's degree in business administration from Campbell University, Buies Creek, N.C., in 2007. He is employed by Arysta LifeScience, Cary, N.C., as a sales and operations analysis and planning manager.
