Announcement has been made of the engagement of Julie Grenoble, Muncy, and Jed Ritter, Hughesville.
A June 2013 wedding is being planned.
Grenoble is the daughter of Kathy and Nathan Grenoble. She graduated from Muncy High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in history from Lycoming College in 2008. She is employed by Montoursville Area School District as a high school librarian.

Ritter is the son of Joni and Wayne Ritter, Hughesville. He graduated from Hughesville High School in 2007 and received a bachelor's degree in science from Penn State University in 2011. He is attending Penn State College of Medicine, Hershey.
